Art and music have sustained my life. I grew up listening to Classical Music and playing piano. Although I don't play piano anymore I still love music and try to bring rhythm and harmony into my visual work and I often think of colors as notes and cords. I'm most interested in the movement of light. Even as a kid I used to enjoy sitting at windows with old warped glass, swaying my head back and forth and watching everything outside turning into wavy patterns.

My father was a hobby painter and art lover. He took me to museums from an early age on. As a child I fell in love with painters of light - Monet, Turner, Feininger and many others. Inspired by Kandinsky and his book about the Spiritual in Art I began experimenting with abstract painting as a teenager. This experiment has continued now for over 40 years and it has been one of the great pleasures of my life.
