Lives & works in Gallatin, NY
As is the case with most artists, I have had numerous jobs and side careers throughout my life. My main goal with these other activities has always been not to work for a living more than 3 days a week so I would have 4 days left for art.
I've worked as a waitress, gardener, cabinet maker, furniture designer, interior designer, and restaurateur. I've also bought and renovated buildings and am in the middle of a new project in Hudson NY.
I've been successful in my plight to keep free time for painting with the exception of starting and running Stonehome Wine Bar in Brooklyn with my husband for 13 years. This was more than a full time occupation but it was a great experience and the restaurant was sold in 2015.
